Accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing

A facility marked with the “Accessible for the deaf and hard of hearing” icon must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• The event space has a hearing loop
• The information desk/cash register has a hearing loop

About the hearing loop:

This technology allows sound to be transmitted directly to the individual’s hearing aids, improving speech understanding and reducing distracting ambient noise. This allows people with hearing problems to enjoy all aspects of the event without being bothered by communication barriers.

Information desks can also be equipped with such solutions. This means that people with hearing difficulties can easily access the information they need. Trained staff are familiar with these solutions and are ready to provide help and support to make the experience of visitors with hearing difficulties as pleasant and stress-free as possible.
