Discover the scenic valley of the Alpine river Soča, remarkable for its emerald green waters and white water rapids, which attract the lovers of adrenaline-fuelled water sports from around the world.
The excursion begins with a visit to Kranjska gora, a regular venue for the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, and continues along the scenic road across Vršič, the highest mountain pass in Slovenia. Two stopovers are made on the way to view Lake Jasna and the picturesque Russian Chapel, built in 1916 by prisoners of war. Once in the Soča Valley, you will be taken to the small towns of Bovec, a well-known centre of adrenaline sports, and Kobarid, the setting of Hemingway's novel A Farewell to Arms. A raft dventure can be arranged at a surcharge.
