Lipica Stud Farm and wonders of the Karst region

Go on a tour around Lipica Stud Farm, one of the earliest stud farms that was established for breeding Lipizzan horses, and enjoy the traditional cuisine of the Karst region.

On this guided tour you will walk around Lipica Stud Farm, which is known for being one of the earliest stud farms established for breeding Lipizzan horses. The breed is also one of the oldest horse breeds in Europe. You will also learn more about the history of the place, visit the stables and get to see the Lipizzan horses up close.

After that, you will be taken to a picturesque village in the Karst region where you get to sample the traditional cuisine such as Karst prosciutto or Teran, a renowned indigenous dark-red wine.

The tour price includes transfer, guided tour of the Lipica Stud Farm, wine and prosciutto tasting.
