Kranjska Gora and Vintgar Gorge

The famous mountain resort of Kranjska Gora lies in the heart of the Julian Alps, just by the border with Austria and Italy. Breathe in the fresh mountain air and admire the picturesque nature of the famous Vintgar Gorge.

Apart from Kranjska Gora, a popular recreational and tourist centre, you will also discover all the natural beauty offered by this Alpine part of Slovenia. You will visit the peaceful lake Jasna and the Zelenci nature reserve. On the way back to Ljubljana, you will stop at the Vintgar Gorge where you will be able to enjoy its natural splendors, cross wooden bridges and galleries only a few meters above water, and admire the pools and rapids of the Radovna River.
