Exploring the Culinary Heritage of Kras

This is a trip around the Slovenian region of Kras, the land of prosciutto, sheep's milk cheese, and a famous red wine called Teran.

Taking you to several picturesque traditional villages built from stone (Štanjel, Komen, Šepulje, Dobravlje), the trip gives you an insight into the rich history of the area while allowing you to experience the genuine hospitality of the locals and taste the culinary specialties of this unique region. The trip includes a visit to a prosciutto-making facility and a wine cellar.
