Head out to a one-day hike to the Julian Alps or the Big Pasture Plateau from where you can enjoy breathtaking views.
You can take a hike to the Triglav Lakes, an Alpine valley located in between Bohinj and Trenta, which is famous for its high mountain lakes and breathtaking views. You can also opt for a hike to Mount Vršič and Mount Slemenova Špica, which is a popular hiking spot close to the highest mountain pass in Slovenia.
In the Julian Alps you can also climb up to Blejska Koča from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Pokljuka forests and the highest Slovenian mountain – Triglav. For those of you who would like to discover the traditional life of herders atop the highest Slovenian pasture, you can opt for a hike to the Big Pasture Plateau.
