Creative sector in Ljubljana
The development of the creative sector in recent decades has helped to blur the boundaries between high, mass and popular culture. Today, this sector, together with culture, is at the heart of the creative economy. In the economy, we can see that the integration of the cultural and creative sectors is generating above-average growth and job creation, especially for young people.

To position Ljubljana as a creative city, this must become part of everyday life and the experience of visitors. Last year, Ljubljana gained a new creative and social hub in the iconic Rog factory, which is closely connected to the local environment and international flows. In addition to providing a creative support environment for the development of innovative, socially beneficial projects in the fields of craftsmanship, urban handicrafts, applied arts, design and architecture, Rog also offers shops and catering services that are becoming an attractive destination for visitors.
Visitors can co-create their experience in various workshops and activities. Working with our partners, we focus on the promotion of the creative sector, building on our cooperation and networking with Ljubljana's creatives, and enhancing the visibility of creative Ljubljana through planned communication.
We are also setting up a regular accessible offer - from shops and workshops to unique products that will allow visitors to share Ljubljana's creativity and culture. The creative sector in the city is not only focused on art and innovation, but also on finding sustainable solutions that support the environment, social responsibility and sustainable business. Ljubljana's creative community is increasingly focused on the use of natural, recycled and sustainable materials, as well as on the development of innovations that contribute to a better quality of life and the conservation of natural resources.
