LUV fest boasts a variety of art installations scattered throughout Ljubljana, creating a unique synergy between art and the urban environment. The installations offer visitors an interactive experience and encourage reflection on themes such as love, community and identity.

Ljubljana is LUV. This is reflected in the little birds that accompany us as we stroll through the city centre. Look up! Love is in the air. Spring is on its way.

LIGHT OSCILLATOR 3.0: WATER; 8th February – 12th March
Look! Movement, flash, and reflection! Step closer, take a look, and immerse yourself in this sensory experience that will captivate you with its hypnotic dynamics. Glowing spheres move in circular motions on water, creating an endless dance of light bodies. They reflect our inner world, constantly in motion, sparkling and transforming. They invite you to focus your attention, to unite with the movement of light impulses and reflections, flowing from chaos to order. Let your thoughts wander freely as you gaze at this installation, offering a meditative experience of peace, grounding, and exploration, satisfying our deepest desires for beauty, love, and aimless wandering.

One of the key building blocks of life is love, in all its shades. Brbotanje (Burbling) is envisioned as a collection of individual installations scattered throughout Old Ljubljana, opening up charming corners of the city to visitors and transforming it into a beautiful fantasy picture book.

Birdhouses on Wolfova, 8th February – 12th March
Every spring, as nature awakens, the streets of Ljubljana come to life as part of the LUV Fest, adorned with colourful birdhouses. These beautiful creations are not just decorations but symbols of connection and love. Together with the birds, they herald the arrival of spring and the traditional Slovenian holiday of St. Gregory’s Day, a celebration when the birds mate.

DRESSED LAMPS; 8th February – 12th March
During LUV Fest 2025, Zvezda Park will shine in a new light! 22 street lamps will be brought to life through a creative project by Ljubljana’s primary schools, where students will use festival-inspired motifs to create unique environmental and scenic interventions. "Dressed lamps" contribute to the festive atmosphere of the festival, while connecting young artists with the audience in the magical evening space of Zvezda Park. Don’t miss this glowing experience that illuminates Ljubljana and transports you to a world of imagination!
