February 8 – Prešeren Day – Slovenian Cultural Holiday

On Prešeren Day, the Slovenian Cultural Holiday, art, history, and culture become accessible to all! Museums, galleries, and other cultural institutions open their doors for free. There will also be free guided tours of Prešeren’s Ljubljana, where you can explore the heritage of our greatest poet.

Robert Šimrak: Purgatory, February 8 – March 12

In the time of LUV FEST 2025, the Bažato Gallery will feature the latest works of Robert Šimrak, one of the key representatives of the mid-generation of contemporary Croatian artists.

An artistic project that combines light and sound elements in a unique ambiance, designed for experiencing and exploring emotions.

An event that commemorates an old folk tradition, where craftsmen symbolically bid farewell to winter by letting wooden boats with burning candles float down streams, celebrating the arrival of spring and the hope that with it, they would no longer need light for their work.
