Golovec trails
Trail park with nine marked, maintained mountain biking trails located in the Golovec forest, which reaches all the way to the city centre of Ljubljana.

Difficulty: All difficulty levels. The trails are marked from green to black.
Open: Riding is never allowed at night.
Entrance fee: Annual membership of the ŠD Golovec Trails association, or support in the form of a donation, purchase of association merchandise, etc. is encouraged and recommended.
Uplift: By bike only
Advice from locals: Between April and October, you can join a free guided tour every Thursday afternoon and quickly get to know some hidden corners of the park.
You can find trails of varying difficulty, from easier single tracks, i.e. flow trails, to trails with bigger jumps and steep, more demanding trails.
The local association organises a number of guided tours, courses, children's training, and other similar activities on the trails. Every year, you can also take part in an enduro competition as part of the Ljubljana MTB Weekend festival.
There is a service stand at the trailhead with tools for basic bike repair and a tyre pump.
The trail park is located on the southern slope of Golovec above Rudnik. The starting point (trailhead) is at the Urban Ring Ljubljana Hotel, and access to the trail is possible via the Slovenian Cycle Touring Route (STKP), the Hudourniška route, or the road to Orle.
Parking: Free parking is available at the Urban Ring Ljubljana Hotel for all guests of the bar (behind the gate)
