This year, thanks to the mild winter we've had, there's been a noticeable rise in the number of ticks, some of which may carry diseases. According to unofficial reports from tick monitoring in Slovenia, their population has spiked, especially in areas like Tivoli and Rožnik in Ljubljana. Given Ljubljana's reputation as the green jewel of Europe, it's wise for visitors to these areas to take precautions, check themselves after outings, and remember: no need to panic!
