Cinnamon cookies

We asked pastry chef and popular reality show judge Karim Merdjadi for a recipe that anyone can make at home. Get ready for the scent of cinnamon to fill your home (and for you to have to repeat the preparation process very soon).
INGREDIENTS
- 65 g finely ground almonds
- 22 g cinnamon
- 100 g sugar
- 4 g baking powder
- 188 g flour
- 32 g ground hazelnuts
- pinch of salt
- 135 g butter
- 135 g dark chocolate / chocolate chips
- 1 egg
- 4 g liquid vanilla
PREPARATION METHOD
In a mixer bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and mix well. Add softened butter and mix until you get a sandy texture, then fold in roughly chopped dark chocolate or chocolate chips. Next, add the egg and liquid vanilla, and mix until you have a homogeneous mixture. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
Shape the dough into balls, place them on a baking sheet, and gently flatten them. Bake for approximately 12 minutes at 160°C (320°F). The exact time may vary depending on the size of the cookies.
