Dobra Vila

Known for ages as a popular food spot in the Šiška district, Dobra Vila is now becoming a city-centre pizzeria. They are moving to the Delo tower at the centre of their food delivery area of Šiška-Bežigrad-Centre. And although the location of the famous pizzeria is changing, the team is staying loyal to their bulletproof selection of pizzas, burgers, and other fast and good specialties, which we will be able to enjoy either at their new location or in the comfort of our own home.

Ljubljana has gained yet another boutique bakery. The new Mama peče (eng. Mother Bakes) family bakery and cafe has opened its doors on Šmartinska Street near Orto Bar. Shopping there is done with your own reusable bags and packaging, thereby contributing to a reduction in the amount of waste. It’s a new franchise of the zero waste store which has already been operating for nearly five years in the Šiška district. At the same time, the new store also features the innovative concept of an autonomous store with no employees – the first of its kind in Slovenia – making it possible to shop for fresh local products 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
