For those who prefer meatless options, we have prepared a four-course tasting menu with vegetarian delights.

For vegetarians, we’ll start off with a Slovenian classic: potato salad with pumpkin seed oil. A rare find abroad, yet here almost no salad is served without pumpkin oil. And of course, few foods are more Slovenian than potatoes!

Hot appetizer: Trofi Pasta with Truffles

For the warm appetiser, we are traveling to the west of Slovenia again, where the famous trofi pasta (Ljubljana simply loves pasta) with truffles, which are traditionally found in the Karst region of Slovenia.

Main course: Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

For your main course, we’ve prepared a meat-free take of another Slovenian – well, Balkan – classic: stuffed cabbage rolls known as “sarme”, and traditionally prepared to enjoy in the early hours of new year’s celebrations, as well as throughout the autumn and winter months.

Dessert: Buckwheat Dumplings with Walnuts

For dessert, a classic štruklji, this time with buckwheat and honey, a truly delicious combination!
