The head of Gostilna Mihovec in Zgornje Pirniče describes herself as having been trained only by one culinary grandmaster, her grandmother Ivanka. Since taking over the inn, she has been involved in numerous modern culinary projects and has also completed Level 3 sommelier training. The foundation of her culinary philosophy is ingredients from the local fields, forests, and barns, which she elevates to a new level with her sparkling imagination and skill. With her refined sense for details, she knows how to present local dishes in a slightly different way, with a heavy dose of tradition and just the right amount of modernity.
