Grič

One of the most creative and interesting chefs of Slovenia's young generation, who draws inspiration from nature, seasons, and tradition. With his wild imagination, rooted in the local soil, he combines Scandinavian cooking approaches, the typical Asian philosophy of fermentation, ingredients from his own garden, the neighboring forest, nearby farms, and the fruits of the Adriatic Sea at his Michelin and Green Star awarded restaurant Grič. With an uncharacteristic modesty and gentleness for exceptional chefs, he shows respect for primal ingredients that speak for themselves on the plates and in their combinations, surpassing even the highest expectations.
