Plečnik & A-Cappella 2025: 5. concert

The Vikra Chamber Choir of the Glasbena matica Trieste was founded in 2014 on the initiative of the internationally renowned Slovenian conductor Petra Grassi from Trieste.

The choir has been performing in concerts and competitions around the world and has been awarded several top prizes. Most recently, at the 59th International Seghizzi Competition in Gorizia, Italy, in 2022, Vikra won the Grand Prix, first prizes in the Renaissance, Romantic and Contemporary Music categories, as well as the prize for Best Chamber Choir. Petra Grassi added to these accolades by receiving the awards for Best Conductor of the Competition and Best Programme.
