PLEČNIK & A-CAPPELLA 2024: 5. concert

BeJazzy is a playful company of singers young in years and those who have exchanged youth in years for youth in spirit. They are united by their love for a cappella and singing in general. Their performances are dynamic and usually delight the audience. The choir's repertoire ranges from folk songs, which they turn into modern adaptations, Slovenian popular songs and songs from foreign lands, to jazz standards. They also cultivate a special genre: singing songs that are originally instrumental, but adapted for voices, so that they create vocal dynamics with their syllables instead of instruments. The BeJazzy vocal group has been under the artistic direction of Ksenja Pirc since its beginning, now in its 10th year.
