This year’s “Neighbour’s Day at Križevniška” will, for the fourteenth time in a row, bring new life to one of Ljubljana’s most charming streets.

Križevniška Street will once again come alive with a celebration of science, art, design, and cuisine.

A diverse and free open-air programme for both children and adults will take place throughout the entire day.

Morning Programme

10:00 – adventures of the House of Experiments, a science show in the open for local kindergartens and primary schools
11:00 – traditional greening of Križevniška Street with donated flowers

The programme will be enriched by performances and contributions from students of the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music and Ballet and the Ljubljana Secondary School for Design and Photography.

Afternoon Programme

16:00–18:00 – free admission for families at the City Museum of Ljubljana
16:30 – public guided tour by Dr. Blaž Vurnik of the exhibition "1495 Days: Ljubljana During the Second World War" (registration required at [email protected])
17:00 – adventures of the House of Experiments: Plinologija (Gasology), an open outdoor science show repeat
independent printmaking on an old printing press in the TipoRenesansa studio
18:00 – Carrot the Gnome, a puppet show by Mini teater
another opportunity for independent printmaking in the TipoRenesansa studio
20:30 – concert by the group Anbot

Throughout the day, an exhibition by students of the Ljubljana Secondary School for Design and Photography (SŠOF) titled Fashion Pulse of Design will be on display.

The TipoRenesansa letterpress studio and the Robert Hairdressing Editorial will open their doors, featuring a salon and a permanent exhibition of artworks by local and international artists who donated their works in exchange for a new hairstyle.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of culinary offerings throughout the day.
