The concert cycle "Night of Slovenian Composers," founded in 1992, remains true to its mission – presenting exclusively Slovenian premieres. This concert features ten new works to be premiered by the MD7 ensemble, known for its virtuosity and exceptional adaptability.
The program offers a variety of compositions – from solo and duo pieces to trios, exploring the rich tonal and sound possibilities of the ensemble. Composers such as Janko Jezovžek Jizzou, Timotej Kosovinc, Igor Majcen, Vladimir Batista, Tilen Slakan, and others weave together classical, contemporary, and experimental approaches, uncovering new dimensions of sound.
The concert will be an opportunity for the premiere performances of contemporary Slovenian compositions and an insight into the creative diversity of the local music scene.
