NLB 29th Ljubljana Marathon

The marathon has a great international reputation thanks to its very attractive course, which ensures an exceptional running experience and results.

On the third Sunday in October, the streets of Ljubljana come alive to the rhythm of the steps of thousands of runners from all over the world. The NLB Ljubljana Marathon is the largest running event in Slovenia and offers a sporting experience in the middle of the picturesque city centre, where history, architecture and nature create a unique backdrop.

The event is suitable for all generations and different levels of fitness, as it offers runs for preschoolers, schoolchildren, high school students, while more or less prepared recreational runners have the Heineken 0.0 Marathon, the Generali ZAME Half Marathon and the Garmin 10 km Run available.

The special energy is created by the fans along the course and the musical support, which makes the event go beyond a classic sports competition.
