The musical Les Misérables is considered one of the most popular musical theatre productions of all time, with a quarter-century of successful Broadway performances, eight Tony Awards, and the title of the most frequently staged show on the West End. It also has a special connection to Zagreb, where it was first staged in 1982, just a year and a half after its Paris premiere.

After nearly forty years, the story of Jean Valjean and his moral dilemmas returns to the stage of the Zagreb City Theatre Komedija, known for its outstanding musicals and comedies. They are confident that Komedija will deliver a top-tier musical spectacle featuring unforgettable songs like I Dreamed a Dream and Do You Hear the People Sing?
