The talented singer, keyboardist, composer and lyricist Žan Hauptman presents a fresh blend of alternative rhythm and blues, jazz and soul. He studied jazz singing in Klagenfurt and further developed his skills in Boston with jazz vocal legend Sheila Jordan. His music is characterised by laid-back grooves, jazz harmony influences and subtle elements of soul and funk. In 2021 he released his debut album "Finished, not perfect", which he presented at Kino Šiška and at the ESNS Festival in Groningen. The idea behind the album's theme, expressed through the slogan "Finished, but not perfect", is a liberating one for any artist and encourages them to present their work in spite of any doubts they may have. Hauptman says: "The product will never be perfect. I accept my imperfection and nurture my creativity."

The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club is open from 19:00 to 23:00, with musicians performing at 20:00.

Tickets are on sale at the Ljubljana Castle ticket offices, the reception of the Celica Hostel, the lower funicular station, via www.ljubljanskigrad.si and at all www.mojekarte.si sales outlets (including Petrol stations, Kompas offices around Slovenia, etc.).

On the day of the concert, tickets can be purchased at the Entrance Pavilion and at the lower funicular station until 20.45. The concert ticket includes a return ticket for the funicular, which runs until 23.00 on the day of the concert.
