The biggest BMX Race in Slovenia returns to Ljubljana.

The international BMX Race Ljubljana will host Europe's elite BMX riders again in 2024 as it has become a "classic" in the Alpe-Adria BMX Cup, while the second race of the weekend has the even higher UCI C1 status, meaning it earns the best riders qualification points for the Olympic Games.

The final straight of the track at BMX Park Ljubljana has been extended by two rollers, which will change the racing dynamics, and the extra metres at the very end of the track will certainly have an impact on the final rankings. More importantly in the long run, the Ljubljana track has become an even higher quality training ground, bringing it closer to the high international standard. Young Slovenian riders are breaking through to the very top of Europe and the infrastructure must keep pace with progress.
