Aïghetta Guitar Quartet, founded in 1979 in Monte Carlo, has performed in prestigious European concert halls and collaborated with renowned artists such as Henryk Szeryng, György Cziffra, Riccardo Chailly, John McLaughlin, and Anthony Burgess. Recently, the quartet has focused on composing its own works that blend new musical trends.

In their Ljubljana concert, they will perform a diverse repertoire, including contemporary pieces by the ensemble members, a quartet for four guitars by Ferdinand Carulli, and arrangements of popular works from musical theatre, such as Rossini's The Barber of Seville, Weill's The Threepenny Opera, and Bizet's Carmen.
