SITAR 1920 is the oldest still-functioning handicraft workshop for stamp making and engraving in Slovenia. For more than a century, they have been preserving the tradition of making stamps by hand from quality Slovenian recycled wood.

A facility that preserves the rich heritage of knowledge passed down through generations hides many interesting anecdotes that we love to share withvisitors.

In 2018, Jelena Marković and Minea Sončan Mihajlović took over the workshop and brought its story into a new era, combining tradition and creativity in a modern way. In their work, they often collaborate with designers and artists to develop new motifs and products.

They are always happy to show kids their rich collection of children's stamps!
