Studio Mache offers handmade tableware and decorative ceramics distinguished by their contemporary touch and elegance.
Simona Žiher is the designer behind the Mache brand and her hope is that these subtly designed pieces will make people's small but important everyday moments more beautiful.
She uses a variety of techniques in her work, most notably spinning on a potter's wheel, hand modelling and moulding. All pieces are made from high-quality, high-fire clay – stoneware or porcelain – and are therefore dishwasher safe.
Her work is inspired by architecture, nature, works of art, dreams, memories and sometimes pure intuition. She transforms the formless softness of clay into delicate objects with organic and elegant shapes, which is why the products and collections carry female names.
