'Taste Kamnik' Market

Every last Saturday of the month, the small town of Kamnik's Glavni trg square hosts a local farmers' market selling organic produce and homemade food products.

The market offers fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meat products, bread and bakery products, biscuits, and typical dishes of the Kamnik area. It is always themed around the season and its folk traditions.

The market is held as part of the 'Taste Kamnik' project, whose aim is to promote local dishes that have cultural value and represent a fusion between traditional and modern cuisine available in Kamnik. The Kamnik area is well-known for its diverse choice of local foods and food products. Particularly interesting, appreciated, and recognized far beyond the local boundaries are those produced in Kamnik's surrounding mountains.
