Neks Lounge Bar is located on the iconic Rimska cesta in the very heart of Ljubljana. The name "Neks," derived from the word "nexus" (meaning connection or meeting point), reflects our mission: to create a welcoming space where different generations meet and connect in a genuine, relaxed atmosphere.

We offer our guests a truly unique experience—writing a letter to their future selves. Guests are invited to take a peaceful moment for themselves and comfortably write down their thoughts, wishes, dreams, or goals on paper. Once they finish, the letter is sealed, carefully stored by us at Neks, and sent to the desired address after two years. With this experience, we aim to revive the forgotten power of the written word, personal reflection, and the joy of savoring precious, slow moments that remain forever preserved.

Neks also proudly features wines from Vina Kobal, produced in Štanjel, in Slovenia's Karst region. Each bottle of wine and sparkling wine tells a unique story of Karst's rugged landscape, the Bora winds, and stony soil. At Neks, we offer tasting packages of wines and sparkling wines paired with authentic local Karst charcuterie.

Neks is the first and currently the only bar in Slovenia to offer the special experience of writing a letter to your future self. It is a place where new connections and lasting memories are created over excellent coffee, a carefully selected glass of Slovenian wine, enjoyable board games, or the extraordinary experience of writing a letter to the future.
