TIC Litija offers information on the tourist offer in the municipality of Litija and its surroundings, promotional materials in several languages, a choice of local guided tours and a boutique store of handicraft products from the Heart of Slovenia area.

Guided tour of the Sitarjevec mine

An interpretive guided tour takes you for a stroll down the export mine tunnel. Find out what the mining profession was like, get to know the stories of former miners, see an exhibition of rocks, minerals and mining tools. Additionally, you can have the traditional miners’ lunch called "Sitarjevška mal'ca" or sweet "elf šmorn", served to you at the mine.

Guided tours are organized upon request only and run according to the following schedule:

• Thursdays 10:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00,
• Fridays 10:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 18:00,
• Saturdays 9:00 to 12:00.

Groups of more than 10 persons can book guided tours outside the scheduled hours.
