Krvavec is one of Slovenia’s most popular ski resorts and mountain recreation centres, thanks in part to its convenient location just 25 kilometres from Ljubljana and a mere 8 kilometres from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport. A cable car that operates all year round will take you to the summit of Krvavec.

Krvavec Summer Park is the perfect place for active outdoor adventures, including a treetop adventure park and a range of activities such as descents by rubber ring, mountain go-kart, monster roller (a kind of giant scooter) and mountain bike, trampolining, slacklining, a climbing tower, disc golf and archery.
Krvavec Bike Park has 30 km of marked mountain bike trails and the biggest elevation drops of any bike park in Slovenia.
Hiking trails from Krvavec lead to nearby mountain pastures such as Koren, Košutna and Kompotela or the more distant Kokrško Sedlo and Kalški Greben. The starting point for most trails is at the Hotel Krvavec. There is also a Nordic walking school in Krvavec.
The Dwarf Herdsmen’s Trail on Krvavec is an experience for the whole family that reveals the secrets of the mountain pasture. Children solve puzzles and look for dwarf runes – the ancient writing of the dwarves. Along the trail are wooden sculptures of animals that live on Krvavec, and of the dwarves themselves.
