The top of Mount Krim (1107 m), nicknamed by locals as "The Southern Guard of Ljubljana Marshes", offers one of the most beautiful views in Slovenia. Due to its position, it is an important spot for hikers and mountaineers. It is accessible by six clearly waymarked mountain routes.
The most popular departure points to reach it are Podpeško Lake, Iški vintgar Gorge and Rakitna. The walking time from each of these directions is between 2 and 2.5 hours.

The outdoor sports facilities at Krim Sports Centre cover a total area of 2,100 m2 and include basketball and handball courts and football pitches. These surfaces are asphalted or covered with outdoor sports flooring. They are used for training and recreation.
