Goriški mah

Goriški mah, near Goričica under Krimom, is the largest and best preserved area of the high Marshes in the region on Ljubljana Marshes. On some 19 hectares layers of peat various plants grow, among them peat moss, downy birch and black alder. The autumn speciality is violet meadows of autumn heath.
