Let's Take a Walk Around Ljubljana Old Town!
Ljubljana ranks as one of the smaller European capitals, but nevertheless it boasts an exceptionally rich history and tradition, a recognizable style, culture and art, and an atmosphere reminiscent of both Central Europe and the Mediterranean. The city has preserved evidence of a five-thousand-year history, arranged in a mosaic including, among other things, the remains of the Roman city of Emona, the historical city centre with its medieval castle, Baroque façades, creations by the architect Jože Plečnik, decorative portals and uneven roofs, picturesque bridges spanning the river Ljubljanica, and the pleasant green Ljubljanica embankments all within the distance of a nice and easy walk.
On this guided tour, you will take a walk through the historical city centre of Ljubljana to explore all the major sights and, through them, get to know the city's history, art, architecture, and way of life in the past and present.
