Ljubljana’s largest convention hotel enriches the clients’ experience

Illumination, new state-of-the-art multimedia equipment and room renovations were the main focus. Furthermore, the lower stretch of Miklošičeva cesta street, where the hotel is located, has recently become car-free, which has brought more quiet and life at the same time, as live events are often held at the new Grand Union Café summer terrace.

Providing innovative technology

Grand Hotel Union invested in buying a new state-of-the-art Panasonic 3D projector, which will enable their corporate and association clients to make multimedia presentations a truly real experience in picture and sound for their participants. Moreover, they are among the first five providers in Europe to offer this first-rate multimedia experience.

Enhancing illumination

The light, being one of very important parts when it comes to conference and congress facilities, is being enhanced by repainting all the walls and thus making the area brighter and clearer.

Upgrading the rooms’ cleanliness

Cleanliness is of course one of top priorities when it comes to hotel management and we are very proud to say that bathroom renovation works at Grand Hotel Union and Grand Hotel Union Business are currently underway in 240 rooms. Furthermore, TV remote controls are regularly disinfected and they await the guests in an elegant petite box.

Thus, one of the new hotel features is the so-called 'pillow on request' (a menu of available pillows), whereby guests can choose between different pillow options: goose feather pillows, nano-thread pillow fillers, memory foam, orthopaedic, anti-allergy, hygienic pillows etc, and soon also husk pillows.
