Hotel Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana reopens after extensive renovation

In March, the Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana hotel opened its doors after an extensive renovation of almost 20 million worth.
Following a complete renovation, which took 14 months, the new hotel wing is now completed, providing 122 new hotel rooms (236 in total), an indoor pool, covered and open parking space, a renovated Robin restaurant and a bistro A2. The building was designed by the award-winning Italian designer and architect Matteo Thun, whose design philosophy manages to successfully capture the synergy of surroundings and nature. At the very beginning, guests can enjoy a very impressive view of a completely renovated hotel lobby - hanging right in the middle there's a huge Murano glass chandelier.
New rooms, a wellness center and a top-notch culinary experience
The renovation means the hotel is now able to position itself better in the market of international events in the region. Additional capacities enable the enhancement of programs suited for the individual guests, who can now stay in 14 superior suites and 105 new superior rooms. The new business-standard hotel suites have a separate living area and a kitchenette. In addition to business apartments, a novelty are also new family apartments.
The hotel also boasts a new swimming pool area, which includes sauna, a massage room and an outdoor terrace. Greatly upgraded is also the culinary experience now offered in the hotel - in the relaxed atmosphere of the A2 bistro guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet, while dinners are served in the Robin restaurant, which now has a new terrace. A great variety of culinary specialties is prepared in a charcoal oven, focusing on ingredients of local origin, which is great news for high-end business meetings and demanding guests.
New congress facilities - an opportunity to host bigger international events
The fact that the hotel is easily accessible makes it a popular venue for business meetings and events. Located right next to the highway, the propertly is also an ideal starting point for exploring the rest of Slovenia. The hotel now offers over 500 m2 of new congress areas, comprising of 3 new congress halls on the lower ground floor and 2 meeting rooms on the ground floor. Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana now has a total of 13 conference halls, all with the impeccable technical equipment, which can accommodate a total of 900 participants. The renovation aims to respond to the needs of the market and attract bigger international events. With this in mind the lobby has been enlarged in order to provide space for high-quality entertainment at events. A new spot for weddings is now offered at the outdoor terrace.
With sustainability in mind
Sustainable vision is at the core of hotel's strategy, which is also proudly represented by the hotel's trademark - bird Robin. The immediate vicinity of the unspoiled nature is an important element that only reinforces a genuine coexistence between the urban world and nature. The hotel also has its own solar power plant, which, located on a 2,900 m2 roof area, provides part of their electricity directly from clean solar energy. Additionally, guests can rent electric vehicles or charge them at the charging stations located in the hotel's parking area.
