With this, the Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana Mons will be the first property in the capital to join a global hotel brand. The project features the conversion of the existing hotel that is to be added to the Four Points by Sheraton portfolio following a renovation and re-branding process, as a part of Starwood’s strategic mid-term expansion plans in Europe and beyond. The steady increase in international arrivals over the last few years and Slovenia’s favourable location at the crossroads of main European cultural and trade routes were important factors behind the decision. A strengthened competitive position of the Mons Hotel on the local market and a further impetus of the hotel industry in Slovenia are expected as a result.
