This year, the 10th edition of the conference was hosted by the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana and was attended by around 1,600 participants. The opening ceremony took place at the CD Congress Centre, while other events took place in several locations around town, including Nebotičnik, Križanke, the Faculty of Social Work of UL and the Faculty of Administration of UL.

It is one of the major international scientific conferences and the largest scientific conference ever organised by the mentioned Faculty and the Slovenian Society of Communication and the Research Centre for Social Communication.

The main theme of the event was "Communication and Social (Dis)order" which focused on the role of media and communication in times of political conflict, environmental threats, pandemics and the impact of artificial intelligence. Developments in politics, economy, health and technology have transformed communication and created social unpredictability with potentially negative consequences.

The four-day conference programme featured over 300 presentations within 25 thematic tracks. It brought together a wide range of experts and researchers from all over Europe, whose presentations and discussions contributed greatly to an already rich and dynamic programme.

In addition to the lectures, leisure activities were organised, including a visit to the Computer Museum, a Feminist Walk around Ljubljana and a visit to Radio Student.

Special emphasis was placed on the sustainable organisation of the event, which followed a number of sustainable principles. Free public transport and reusable water bottles as well as local plant-based meals were provided to the participants on-site.
