The area of Heart of Slovenia near Ljubljana invites you to explore it in the season of unforgettable wanderings. Open doors weekends will offer authentic experiences with free guided tours of local sights, special offers and events at local establishments.

The area of Heart of Slovenia consists of three distinctively different geographical localities in the very heart of the country, covering the area from the foot of the Kamnik Alps in the north to the Posavje Hill Range in the east and the northern edge of the Dolenjska region in the south.
Open door weekends present a chance to sample distinct local dishes from Kamnik to Litija, from Lukovica to Šmartno pri Litiji and perhaps try to make them yourselves. You will be able to get to know local craftsmanships and learn about old traditions, surprise children with adventures, get active in places with outstanding views and take part in sweepstakes to win a weekend package at the Snovik Spa.
Open doors weekends will be taking place at:
- 28-30 August: around Šmartno pri Litiji
- 4-6 September: around Lukovica
- 25-27 September: around Litija
- 23-25 October: around Kamnik
