At The Golden City Gate competition, held as part of the International Tourism Exchange ITB Berlin, Ljubljana Tourism received special awards in the art and culture category for promotional videos highlighting creative handicraft workshops and LUV Fest, the festival of love, art, and rambling. Both videos were created in collaboration with the production company Bright Visuals.

The video featuring creative artisan workshops presents boutique craft experiences preserved in Ljubljana by artisans such as umbrella makers, goldsmiths, potters, weavers, and printers. It focuses on the artisans and emphasizes the authentic experience of workshop participants actively engaging in them. Through creative artisan workshops, Ljubljana Tourism encourages the preservation and respect of cultural and artisan heritage and the development of regenerative tourism in Ljubljana.

The promotional video for the LUV Fest festival depicts the experiences offered by Ljubljana during the festival, from exploring the city, museums, and galleries to shopping, dancing, and celebrating the arrival of spring, among others. It highlights creativity, urbanity, authenticity, and eventfulness, showcasing diverse forms of love, not only romantic but also love for culture, art, heritage, exploration, travel, and new experiences. With the festival taking place in February and March, Ljubljana Tourism is implementing its efforts to deseasonalize tourism in Ljubljana.

ITB Berlin - Internationale Tourismus Börse Berlin is one of the largest international tourism fairs in the world, catering to the business audience, and this year's theme is Pioneers of Transition in Travel and Tourism.
