There are 4 Bazilikas in Ljubljana (3 Cafés and Bistro) and the Križanke one is also opened during the weekends. They offer a selection of sweet and savory pies, sandwiches and selected bistro dishes that are prepared daily. Vegetarians will be pleased with their offerings and those who also love eating with their eyes can drool over their Instagram photos.
Le Petit Café – French-style café with a delightful terrace
They are well aware of the saying that brunch is the most important meal of the weekend. Your go-to dish there would be Eggs Loraine (oven fried eggs with prosciutto and grated cheese), a classic English breakfast or perfectly made Croque Madame served with homemade fries. Slovenska hiša is offering food and drinks exclusively of Slovenian origin. You can't get a green tea there, but they will serve you a proper breakfast with exclusive choices of cheese and meat platters or perfectly fried eggs with crackling.
Kavarna Rog – Everything you want and pancakes on top
Kavarna Rog is located on Petkovškovo Nabrežje and will serve you breakfasts and brunches until noon during the week and until 2 PM at weekends. For a sweet dose of milky coffee, order a Kavarna Rog Latte and enjoy various accompanying dishes, from toasts, sandwiches, and different eggs options to mouthwatering homemade desserts and sweet and fluffy American pancakes.
