Experiencing the Roman city of Emona by torchlight

Treat yourself to a truly Roman experience in the light of flaming torches. Put on Roman-style attire and take a torchlit evening tour of the remains of Emona in the company of a Roman legionary, who will lead you through the streets and squares testifying to Ljubljana's 2,000-year history as a city.

Your tour will include the remains of the northern city gate of Emona, an interactive presentation called iEmona, the remains of the city wall of Emona in the Mirje area of Ljubljana, and the archaeological parks Emona House and Early Christian Centre. At a restaurant located in the vicinity of the former Roman forum, you will taste a Roman drink and dessert.
