St Nicholas will descend into town via the funicular and arrive in Krekov trg Square, where his entourage awaits.

Along with a pack of demons and a choir of angels handing out pastries, fruit, and sweets to children, he will then walk to Prešernov trg Square. Traditionally, the angels give gifts to good children while the demons scare those who have been bad. This year, they promise not to be too hard on them.
