Railway Museum

The workings of modern-day railways do not differ much from those of the railways of the past, except that mechanical devices are now replaced by electronic systems. In spring and summer, the Railway Museum hosts occasional meetings of train enthusiasts. These works will be performed by musicians who have all been guest teachers at the Ljubljana Festival Masterclasses for a number of years: violinist Latica Honda-Rosenberg, who combines a successful international career as a concert violinist with teaching at universities in Freiburg and Berlin; violinist Lana Trotovšek, who has achieved international acclaim through her recordings of chamber music by Beethoven, Brahms and Prokofiev and numerous concert appearances; flautist Felix Renggli, who has premiered numerous contemporary works with the Swiss Chamber Soloists and the Ensemble Contrechamps; and pianists Thomas Haberlah, a frequent accompanist at international festivals and masterclasses, including the Ticino Musica Festival in Lugano and Evgeny Sinaiski.

Ljubljana Tourism Receives Special Awards for Excellence in Tourism Promotion in Berlin

At The Golden City Gate competition, held as part of the International Tourism Exchange ITB Berlin, Ljubljana Tourism received special awards in the art and culture category for promotional videos highlighting creative handicraft workshops and LUV Fest, the festival of love, art, and rambling. Both videos were created in collaboration with the production company Bright Visuals.
